I was producing websites on the Internet before animated gifs had even been invented. Being so new, some friends and I decided to make some websites to demonstrate to people what we could do for them on this exciting new medium.

Among others we made the first Internet auctioning site, the first web based business directory for Essex and the premier Internet gambling site.

Due to nobody at that time ever having heard the word 'Internet' our battle to launch such web based services were doomed, but we weren't disheartened. What we learnt from the various hobby projects we undertook did however give us a massive headstart when the Internet finally became a household word: in 1998 I was among a team of three people that broadcast the very first Live streaming video content to the world via the 'TelecomTV' website.

Since 1998, I have crashed my motorcycle 4 times got dumped twice and been involved in countless Internet ventures that have never quite got the timing right. It's taught me a lot: I now pull 200 yard wheelies, am married with a daughter on the way and have spent more time fixing CSS bugs than I care to admit.
